Diamond Jack wasn't wasted, it is a very good story - and I believe a new legacy heroine came out of it. Been a while since I read it, though. Oh yes ! What a relief to know that I really am much happier to know that Diamond Jack's legacy is being worthily used by a superheroine i was afraid that the character would turn evil i am much happier to know that this was not the case.

I would also just love it if by any chance DC Comics made a much more heroic and noble version of the New God of Apokolips Power Boy to make a "power duo" with Power Girl in the Justice Society of America.

Anyone reading the new series? Are you getting tired of all the time travel shenanigans Johns is writing or do you like it? Personally i hate it. A little excited to meet Diamond Jack, one of the Fawcett heroes DC hasn't used yet. They'll probably butcher him when he(?) finally appears on panel. I think it would be really cool if by chance DC Comics used Diamond Jack and other forgotten heroes of Fawcett heroes like Captain Midnight , Master Man , Minute-Man and Phantom Eagle in the Justice Society of America miniseries but I think in that case the story would be very full of heroes, which would make it very difficult to write and work properly with all these characters. DC can't use Capt. Midnight. Fawcett licensed the character and he is currently owned by others.

I really lament that the rights to Captain Midnight currently belong to someone other than DC Comics as it would be really cool to see him again in a revamped version for today's times.

It would be really cool if DC Comics used the members of the All-Star Squadron or, in the impossibility of this, heirs and heiresses to the heroic legacy of the members of the All-Star Squadron as possible new members of the Justice Society of America.

The physical copy is delayed a week but for subscribers to DC digital service issue 4 of Stargirl: The Lost Children dropped today. They don't appear on panel, only as voices behind a locked door, but both Pinky and Sparky are now in DC continuity. Although admittedly Pinky has been mentioned before along with Mr. Scarlet.

I would simply love to be able to see a new fanfiction with the members of the All-Star Squadron in an entirely new and unpublished versions for formed by heirs and heiresses to their heroic legacy of the iconic and emblematic title of the legendary super team All-Star Squadron who faced the Axis forces of Nazi Germany in World War II in an entirely new comics fanfictions series with new heroes and heroines emblematic of Earth-2 reimagined in totally news and unpublished like for example : The New Superman (Val-Zod), The New Superwoman (could be an entirely new character perhaps a female Kryptonian survivor wife of Val-Zod), The New Superboy (it could be an entirely new character a young Phaelosian adolescent adopted as a son by Val-Zod the New Superman) , The New Supergirl (could be a Kryptonian girl related with Ursa), The New Steel (could be an heir of John Henry Irons who gained super powers comparable to those of one Kryptonian after having his body infused with protomatter which granted him super powers comparable to those of Supergirl Matrix from the DC Universe Pre-Reboot without, however, ceasing to be human who would be a scientific genius with a superbly gifted intellect), The New Eradicator (an amalgamation between an ancient Kryptonian device created to preserve Kryptonian genetic supremacy made with the ingrans of the mental patterns of a House of El ancestor named Kem-El with the body and mind of human scientist Doctor David Connor resulting in a super powerful entity beyond of good and of evil), The New Aquaman (could be a character entirely new who knows a marine demigod son of Poseidon) , Aquawoman (Queen Marella of Atlantis), The Blackhawk Squadron (the new version of the Blackhawk Squadron formed by Janos Prohaska heir [Leader] , Andre Blanc-Dumont heir, Carlo "Chuck" Siriani heir, Lady Blackhawk heiress [ Natalie Reed ] , Olaf Friedriksen heir, Ritter Hendricksen heir, Stanislaus Drozdowski heir, Weng Chan heir) , Blue Boys heirs, Captain Triumph heir , Captain X heir , Dan the Dyna-Mite heir, Dr. Occult and Rose Psychic heirs, Doll Man heir, Doll Woman heiress, Firebrand heiress, Wise Ghost (heir to the heroic legacy of Keith Everett who instead of "Gay Ghost" would be called "Wise Ghost" due to the fact that the word "Gay" had its meaning perverted by society and Keith Everett is not a "homosexual" but some malicious minds might pervertedly associate his name with a supposed homosexuality of the character) , Great Defender heir, Ghost Patrol heir, Guardian heir, Harlequin (heiress the heroic legacy of Molly Mayne) , Herkules (could be a another demigod son of the original Hercules demigod of Olympus Son of Zeus with a New Goddess of Apokolips Lashina the field leader of the Female Furies hence the name "Herkules" with "K" ) , Hop Harrigan heir, Invisible Hood heir, The King heir, Little Boy Blue heir, Little Miss Redhead heiress, Max Mercury heir (could be a young successor to him also a super speedster heir to the heroic legacy of Max Crandall), Merlin the Magician heir, Merry, Girl of 1000 Gimmicks heiress, Neon the Unknown heir, Robotman (Robert Crane / Paul Dennis heir) , Sargon the Sorcerer heir, Tarantula (would be the newest heir to the legacy of uniformed vigilante Jonathan Law), Tiger heir, TNT heir, Tor, the Magic Master heir, Whip heir, Wildfire heir, Alias the Spider (Tom Ludlow Hallaway heir) , Billy Gunn heir, Green Arrow (would be an completely new archer hero heir to the Green Arrow legacy), Speedy (also would be a completely new hero heir the legacy of the original Speedy), Stuff the Chinatown Kid (Daniel Jimmy Leong heir) , Vigilante (Greg Saunders heir) , Nemesis (Thomas Tresser heir), Dan the Dyna-Mite (Daniel Dunbar heir) , Flying Fox heir, Fury (Helena Kosmatos heiress) , Neptune Perkins heir , Tigress (Paula Brooks heiress) , Tsunami (Miya Shimada heiress) , Black Pirate (Jon Valor heir) , Golden Gladiator (Marcus of Rome heir) , Miss Liberty (Bess Lynn heiress) , Silent Knight (Brian Kent heir) , Strong Bow heir, Super-Chief (Jon Standing Bear heir), Trigger Twins (Walt and Wayne Trigger heirs) , Valda the Iron Maiden heiress, Black Condor (heiress feminine of the legacy of the second Black Condor / Ryan Kendall) , Human Bomb heir, Jester (Chuck Lane heir) , Magno the Magnetic Man (Tom Dalton heir) , Midnight (Dave Clark heir) , Phantom Lady (Jennifer Knight heiress) , Plastic Woman (Patrick "Eel" O'Brian heiress feminine) , The Ray (Ray Terrill heir) , Red Bee (Rick Raleigh heir) , Uncle Sam, The Knight (Cyril Sheldrake heir) , The Squire (Beryl Hutchinson heiress), Kuei heiress, Phantasmo (Jean-Marc de Villars heir) although in this case there are more than a hundred superheroes and superheroines and I think that it is not possible to work properly on all of them but they could be gradually introduced as necessary and some would leave the team to make room for others.

Although I think if DC Comics were to work with these characters it probably wouldn't bring back all of the All-Star Squadron members.

Well, because All Star Squadron lost impetus due to the Crisis on Infinite Earths, the series began to lose historical resonance and it was cancelled at the time the series in question had reached April 1942. It's anyone's guess what happened to them after that. We know that Johnny Quick and Liberty Belle married and had a daughter, Jesse Quick, and that Robotman I had his brain transplanted into a new human body and presumably ended his crimefighting career.

Yes that's true but I am of the opinion that there are groups of superheroes whose appeal and charisma remain even despite the passage of time and that there are super teams that are such iconic and emblematic groups that remain remarkable even with the passing of the years. The All-Star Squadron was one of the most iconic super teams from the Golden Age of DC Comics so I think it continues to hold the same value even today after years have passed since they were originally released and countless of their heroes have passed into the public domain.

In the case of Liberty Belle I had thought about the possibility that her name would be taken by another heroine other than the original or Jesse Chambers but an heiress of her heroic legacy and the same applies to Johnny Quick I had thought about the possibility of that a new, younger Johnny Quick would emerge, heir to the heroic legacy of the original Johnny Quick, perhaps the younger brother of Jesse Chambers or else a young teenage hero related to Johnny Quick in the same way Bart Allen was to The Flash.

I think Jesse probably is the heir to her father's heroic legacy, given that she used to wear a uniform based on his and was known as Jesse Quick for a while.

I think Jesse probably is the heir to her father's heroic legacy, given that she used to wear a uniform based on his and was known as Jesse Quick for a while. Which doesn't mean at all that Jesse Quick/Jesse Chambers necessarily needs to be the existing sole heiress of his father's legacy. There could be another just like there are more than one Flash / Jay Garrick his daughter Judy Garrick, Barry Allen and Wally West and more than one Green Lantern Alan Scott, Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, and John Stewart. Maybe it could be a young protégé linked to her who took the name Johnny Quick maybe a Johnny Quick Jr. like Kid Flash/Bart Allen and Impulse II/Iris West II. There is always someone else willing to honor the legacy of an old hero.

About Robotman I was thinking that he could be a completely new hero to take the name of Robotman from the Golden Age and that he could be more similar to the character Engineer from the super group The Authority and his robot body from him would be a technological wonder made of quantum nanoparticles. Maybe a " Nanorobotman " or a " Quantum Robotman " ?

Now that's an excellent idea, Kaiser. Although that tech's a little too advanced for the Golden Age, so it'd have to be a modern day Earth-Two hero or heroine. Perhaps it could be Earth-Two's Cliff Steele (the AU counterpart of Earth-One's Robotman) too?
