Who might be Golden Age analogs for Ultra Boy and Phantom Girl? Either in terms of powers or origins?

Mirror Man isn't bad, though I was hoping for a female. For what I have in mind I wanted to reuse PD heroes directly instead of making up new ones. But I suppose in an alternate universe, Mirror Man might have been female. And it could lead to some era appropriate jokes on her name, like: "Isn't EVERY girl a Mirror Girl?" (uh, oh, I better RUN!).
I was hoping for a hero who actually had the ability / necessity to switch between unique powers. I wonder if Ultra Boy was the first one in comics with that limitation to his abilities? I guess Dial H is similar, but it came later. I think the original concept for Captain Marvel was that he would only have one power at a time, so maybe that's where Jo's creators got the idea.
Again, in an alternate universe I could create an Ultra Boy analog 'Public Domain' hero. I have a good idea for his origin and why he has limits. Maybe I'll rethink the idea of using PD characters and instead first create OC analogs of PD comics and then have them become the daily fare of kids on this new Earth.
