BTW, all my suggestions are just suggestions. If we decide to as a group adopt Earth HB the guidelines would be created by the group, not me! Yes . Certainly . But I would particularly find it wonderful if by any chance someone would be willing to write fanfictions with superhero adventures set in Earth Hanna-Barbera !

Well, here's what I have so far. I'll add other speculation later. Prehistory - This Earth has a highly advanced, Neolithic civilization around 10,000 BC which uses dinosaurs as beasts of burden. In the prehistory, a young man named Tor discovers a club which gives him the power to turn into a superhero called Mightor. After his death, the club is lost in a tar pit. Later, around 10,000 BC, a similar hero called Captain Caveman is active with a magic club that lets him fly.
Middle Ages - in Arabia, in the later days of the Muslim golden age, Bakaar the Black Sultan of Persia conquers Baghdad and drives Prince Turhan, son of the Caliph, into exile. Turhan forms a team of superpowered and talented individuals called the Arabian Knights, dedicated to overthrowing the Black Sultan. Robin Hood also exists in this reality, though his adventures began when he was a teenager.
17th Century - D'Artagnan and the Three Musketeers handle many secret and important missions for King Louis of France
18th Century - Hiraga Gennai uses alchemy to empower three girls with superhuman powers, in order to defeat the demonic HIM. They are known as the Great Girls of Edo. Hiraga Gennai is an ancestor of Professor Utonium
Late 19th century – Dracula splits off Transylvania from Hungary and makes it an independent kingdom. To ensure his independence, he makes his kingdom a refuge for all the persecuted monsters of the world. In time, Dr. Jekyll, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Bride of Frankenstein, the Mummy, the Invisible Man, King Kong, the Wolfman, the Phantom of the Opera, the Creature from the Black Lagoon, and numerous miscellaneous monsters make their home in Transylvania, making it too fearsome to be conquered. Professor Utonium's ancestor provides his three daughters with superpowered battlesuits to battle against a gunslinger named Mojo
1940 - Captain Planet appears for the first time, in Florida. After a decade of adventures, he disappears.
1959 - a sheriff in the American southwest named Quickdraw McGraw adopts the costumed identity of El Kebong, battling bandits with a trick guitar containing a boxing glove. Though largely forgotten, his appearance marks the beginning of the modern age of heroes.
1962 - Clark Kent first begins his public career as Superboy around this time.
1964 - 11 year old Jonny Quest begins having adventures with his adopted brother Hadji
1965 - An ordinary ant enhanced with super intelligence and physical powers by an atomic helmet becomes active as a superhero called Atom Ant in a small, Midwestern American town, where he often is called in to support the underfunded police department. As his reputation spreads, he soon receives calls for assistance from around the world. Sinbad Jr., a young man directly descended from Sinbad, begins traveling the world by ship, using a magic belt discovered by his ancestor to give himself temporary super powers when he gets into trouble. Also this year, the International Secret Service is founded, a non-governmental international crime-fighting organization which will eventually change it's name to Inter-Nation. The head of the organization goes by many aliases, but is most famously known as Falcon-7. Archeologist Ray Randall is transformed by the Ruby of Ra into Birdman, avatar of Ra, this year while on a mission for Inter-Nation. He abandons his secret identity to become a full-time crime-fighter, working for Falcon-7. His greatest threats come from F.E.A.R., an international terrorist organization bent on world domination, which has become the arch-rival of Inter-Nation. In outer space, the last surviving member of the Space Force sets up his base on the mysterious Ghost Planet, and becomes the protector of the spaceways known as Space Ghost. While fighting evil, he keeps an eye out for young men and women he can train to rebuild the Space Force. Space Ghost organizes three alien superheroes into the Galaxy Trio, and afterword they help him to patrol the spacelanes.
1966 - A group of teen singers and musicians is caught in a chemical accident, which gives them superpowers. They are quickly recruited and trained by Inter-Nation, and battle against many supervillains and threats as the Impossibles. Also this year, Buzz Conroy's father builds him a robot protector and playmate named Frankenstein Jr, and the two of them begin having adventures together. A young boy named Todd, along with his parents, crash land in the lost valley of the dinosaurs. Todd is adopted by a local caveman who helps him to hunt for his parents. During an invasion of the Earth by the monster Omnikron, a young man discovers the club of Mightor in an archeological dig, and is transformed to become the new Mightor. 1967 – The events depicted in the Real Adventures of Jonny Quest take place this year, while Jonny is 14. Under unrevealed circumstances, a teenage boy named Samson acquires a pair of bracelets that let him transform into a superpowered form with immense strength and durability, and becomes a superhero. In New England, teenage brother and sister Chuck and Nancy discover a pair of magic rings, which leave them stranded in a magical dimension resembling the Arabian Nights. The rings also allow them to summon a mighty genie named Shazzan, who advises them to seek the aid of the Wizard of the 7th Mountain. Plastic Man begins his career. 1968 - Brilliant scientist Reed Richards, his fiancé Susan Storm, her brother Johnny, and his best friend Benjy Grimm, steal an experimental rocket and are exposed to cosmic rays, which transform them into the Fantastic Four. Chuck and Nancy finally make their way back to Earth, and they keep the magic rings and the services of Shazzan. Space Ghost first makes contact with the Teen Force, protectors of Dimension X. 1969 – Superboy officially changes his name to Superman. Batman debuts publicly for the first time this year. Mighty Man begins his career 1980 – The sons of Dracula, the Monster, and the Wolfman leave Transylvania and try to blend in with normal humanity. He presumably kills most of the world’s still living heroes who try to stop him. 2018 – After 10 years of Mandarks dystopian rule, his arch rival Dexter overthrows him and recaptures the Neutronic Protocore. Dexter shares his advances science with the world, thus creating a new, utopian civilization called Dextopia, under his guidance. The Powerpuff Girls come out of retirement 2020 – Mankind is colonizing the bottom of the sea, as shown in Sealab 2020.
2062 – Time of the Jetsons. Dexter is now aged and senile. His is the most highly respected citizen on Earth, but now has little or nothing to do with running day-to-day events. Humanity is exploring space, and automation has eliminated the need for most labor. Okay, so that would mean that there were anthropomorphic animals walking around and talking. And if the Super Friends existed in this timeline, then that means that all of the more embarrassing aspects of that particular television show would be au courant as well. So, perhaps, no DC heroes should be around, but the other HB heroes might be able to form their own heroic team without them. I like the idea of quirks in this particular alternate history, though. So the Flintstones and Jetsons would actually exist on this Earth? For the anthropomorphic animals, I put them into two groups. Characters that were treated like people (Hong Kong Phooie, Quickdraw McGraw, and so forth) are actually people. Characters that were treated like animals are anthropomorphic animals (Yogi Bear, Scooby-Doo, and so forth). I haven't decided on the explanation for the anthropomorphic animals. It could be magical (like in Mystery Incorporated, where they are descended from the Annunaki) or scientific, possibly related to the untold origin of Atom Ant.
Yes, the Flintstones and Jetsons both exist in this timeline. I'll make another post where I describe the historic divergences in more detail.
I considered leaving the Justice League and the Fantastic Four out, but the timeline seems more interesting if we go whole hog and keep everything. However, I made the decision that ONLY the cartoons are canon, not the comics.

Er, would that mean that Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law or Birdgirl were in Earth-HB continuity? No, I'm not including the spoofs. However, I may borrow some information from them to fill out the timeline, such as determining the final fates of the heroes. For example, It's possible that Falcon-7 was elected president in the 1980s, or that Birdman did finally die in battle against Nitro

Okay, this could work for an explanation of anthropomorphic animals. Let's say that Earth-HB and its solar system passed through a mutagenic cosmic cloud early in its evolutionary history. The cosmic cloud had some unexpected side effects, and its biochemical residue enabled rapid evolution in some animal species. Like Kaiser's "Earth-Green" in the thread above, the Chicxulub meteorite that obliterated the dinosaurs on our Earth could also have been somewhat smaller here, resulting in the survival of some species of saurian until at least the neolithic era, also enhancing the intelligence of Cro-Magnon humans temporarily so they achieved a technological standard roughly equivalent to the twentieth century back then, thus explaining Bedrock, the Flintstones and Captain Caveman. The residue's effects lasted thousands of years, until the present day, thus explaining the existence of various species of anthropomorphic animals alongside human beings. Whether or not the anthropomorphic animals might or might not have civil rights could be an interesting question.
O-kay, so that would mean that the annoying Herbie the Fantastic Four robot, the green-skinned Bat-Mite, Gleep and other aspects of that era were all canonic as well?

The effects of the mutagene are so diluted by the 20th century, that only a few animals are actually anthropomorphic. Since they appear in such small numbers, I doubt they get more than token legal consideration

Excellent work with your Earth Hanna-Barbera timeline it was really very thorough and with great precision of details! I would only change the detail that instead of the Fantastic Four which is a property whose copyright belongs exclusively to Marvel, there would exist in Earth Hanna-Barbera instead of them the Fabulous Four who would have had their adventures in 1968 with the group formed by : The Fabulous Four (Earth Hanna-Barbera's version of the Fantastic Four formed by Magnesian / Vincent Venture the team leader a scientific super genius who had his organism mutagenically altered by cosmic radiation gaining magnetic super powers, Duplicity / Sharon O'Toole a young Irish redhead woman she has the exact same powers of Beast Boy of DC Comics, being able to assume the form of any animal, reptile, insect, bird, fish, amphibian, etc. She can also take on the form of creatures that have existed in the past like extinct animals, prehistoric animals, dinosaurs, as well as mythological creatures of several different cultures. These include, but are not limited to: dragons, satyrs, centaurs, minotaurs, griffins, winged horses, unicorns, hydras, lizardmen, sphinxes, basilisks, lycanthropes [of several different species], hellhounds, chimeras, and alien animals or any form of animal life that she is able to conceive. She is a beastmorph, one of the most powerful shapeshifters in the Earth Hanna-Barbera, capable of perfectly duplicating any power, natural ability, special sense, or natural weaponry that the animal form she assumes possesses. In addition, she is very hard to injure physically since whenever she is injured, she mimics the abilities of some animal with incredible healing abilities, such as salamanders. She can survive for weeks without food and water and is immune to poisons and diseases. Duplicity is capable of temporarily enhancing her strength to super-human levels, mimicking the strength of animals such as gorillas or elephants, and is able to lift twenty tons. Duplicity is also capable of flight at speeds of around 40 mph mimicking the ability of birds to fly. Additionally, she seems capable of flying psionically, similarly to the power of Animal Man, Blaze / Andie Stephenson whose body can become an inferno of nuclear plasma energy form, The Gray / Bellisario Martinez a massively muscular man veteran military hero member of the Marine Corps with mutagenically altered organism after being irradiated by cosmic radiation with gray skin the team's gross mass a super strong Titan of over 2.90 m in height and 900 kg in weight owner of super strength and invulnerability comparable to The Thing they would together face threats similar to the ones the Fantastic Four faced in their cartoon series as Doctor Moros [In Greek mythology, Moros /ˈmɔːrɒs/ or Morus /ˈmɔːrəs is the 'hateful' personified spirit of impending doom, who drives mortals to their deadly] the equivalent of Doctor Doom sworn enemy of Magnesian, Burstaar counterpart of the Earth Hanna-Barbera of Blastaar , Ángel negro equivalent of the millennial villain Alchemist Diablo bearer of the Dark Philosophical Stone , Professor Molecular counterpart of the Earth Hanna-Barbera to the villain Molecule Man , Super-Scryllorian equivalent of the Super-Skrull belonging to a race of alien shapeshifters native to the Andromeda galaxy who form a stellar empire of thousands of worlds known as Scryllorians which would be equivalent to the Skrulls of Marvel who would possess the combined powers of all members of The Fabulous Four beyond the shapeshifting power of the Scryllorians the power to fly at hypersonic speeds, telepathy, telekinesis and the ability to project blasts of cosmic energy from hands beyond dominating minds , Crimson Phantom and his Super Animals a Russian scientist who has the power of biogenetic adaptation translating the ability of it to develop in response when confronted by some super power an equivalent opposing super power and a group of three animals altered by cosmic radiation who are a Kodiak Bear with vast superhuman strength and invulnerability comparable to that of the The Gray , a Lemur with telekinetic powers and a Black Panther able to become invisible and with a sonic roar , Reef Giant counterpart of the Earth Hanna-Barbera of the Attuma , Universicus equivalent of the Earth Hanna-Barbera of Galactus , Sonic Claw counterpart of Klaw , Doctor Gerard Gamma / Marine Demon an insane scientist mutated after exposing himself to radiation from the explosion of a Gamma Bomb in the depths of the ocean into a beastly giant amphibious creature possessing superhuman strength capable of surpassing even Gray , Shutek-Sharur a Pharaoh of ancient Egypt in reality a time traveler from the 30st century who used the technology of the future to rule with an iron fist equivalent to Rama-Tut, Subterranean Man equivalent of Mole Man that would be valiantly faced by The Fabulous Four like Earth Hanna-Barbera's "Fabulous First Family of World Heroes" ) In the case of The Thing (animated series) of 1979 I don't think this series should be considered or taken seriously. She took every member of the Fantastic Four in the case of Ben Grimm and turned him into a "teenage school hero", and disappeared with all the other members of the Fantastic Four and turned the "The Yancy Street Gang" into villains (!!!) idiot bikers something I don't agree with so I'd rather think about giving another name for the stone hero of this series like "The Granite Man" and keep Earth Hanna-Barbera's "Fantastic Four" as the "Fabulous Four". Now regarding the case of SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron I thought it was generally agreed that Megakat City was , set in another world that is not the same as Earth. It is a world of the Universe where the dominant race are the felines and they have never had any contact with humans, they have technology far superior to that of Earth guaranteed by the Puma-Dyne Advanced Technology Research Facility.

Yes DocQuantum I think could very well serve as the official Earth Hanna-Barbera timeline!

that represents a LOT of work! very impressive! Yes and very well researched without a doubt. From this timeline, we would have a good guide for authors who wish to write fanfics based on an eventual Earth Hanna-Barbera.

Very interesting your idea I think it may well serve as an explanation for how anthropomorphic animal men would exist on Earth Hanna-Barbera.I think if by chance the Flintstones and the Jetsons exist in this Earth Hanna-Barbera they should be the more serious and adult versions of these characters from the 2016 comics of The Flintstones written by Mark Russell and drawn by Steve Pugh and in the case of the Jetsons the comics from 2017 written by Jimmy Palmiotti and drawn by Pier Brito that have a very adult thematic! In the case of Hong Kong Phooey, I think it would be really cool if you used a much more serious approach to this character, like the one in this short animation : www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgJ7Yf_2GuI

Er, would that mean that Harvey Birdman Attorney at Law or Birdgirl were in Earth-HB continuity? No, I'm not including the spoofs. However, I may borrow some information from them to fill out the timeline, such as determining the final fates of the heroes. For example, It's possible that Falcon-7 was elected president in the 1980s, or that Birdman did finally die in battle against Nitro Very prudent of you in this regard I honestly prefer to forget Harvey Birdman, Attorney at Law and Space Ghost Coast to Coast which were two embarrassing series with these heroes. I think Birdboy could take over his late mentor's place as the new Birdman and become one of Inter-Nation Security's main operatives and in that case a "Bird Clan" could arise formed by a Birdwoman, a Birdgirl and a Birdboy Jr. (son of the original Birdboy that would have become the new Birdman after the death of the original).
