what about the Wonder Woman stories that are considered the first 'alternate Earth' stories, where she meets other Wonder Women? The only 1 I remember for sure had a giant Wonder Woman, but I think there was at least one more. Unless those stories occur on Earth-two (aka cover dates before 1955) then per John's original post they can't have happened. Does kind of prevent "the Steve Trevor from another world" Diana marries just before her final Earth-One stories. Though in a Crisis-less multiverse that whole era probably occurs radically differently.

1953... In the story, "Wonder Woman's Invisible Twin" in Wonder Woman #59, Diana is transported to a parallel, "mirror" universe where “everyone on it is a double of everyone on Earth. Her double tells Diana that her name is Princess Tara Terruna, which coincidentally translates to "Wonder Woman.
1958 - Green Arrow is transported to Dimension Zero and meets Xeen Arrow, which also predates Barry Flash meeting Jay Flash.

At about the same time as Green Arrow met Xeen Arrow, Wonder Woman met her counterpart, the Wonder Woman of "Dimension X", which is obviously an alternate Earth whose only difference to datum reality seems to be that giant hominids, dinosaurs and other megafauna from the distant past actually or still exist there: "Forest of Giants" Wonder Woman 100 (August 1958): dc.fandom.com/wiki/Wonder_Woman_(Dimension_X)NB: This article states WW-X is 'evil', but the actual description of the encounter gives no evidence of it. Instead, WW-X and WW-One fight alongside one another.

I was wondering if Dimension X and Dimension Zero might be the same place, as both are populated with giants... and I never thought that the Dimension X Wonder Woman was evil.
I remember a giant Wonder Woman in an alternate dimension, too - I think... does anyone know that story?

This might be it. It's from the Wonder Woman family era, where Wonder Tot, Wonder Girl and Wonder Woman co-existed alongside one another. In this outing, the three Dianas and Hippolyta end up captives of Mirage Giants in a Mirage World, who are enlarged AU versions of themselves: "Captives of the Mirage World" Wonder Woman 142 (November 1963): dc.fandom.com/wiki/Wonder_Woman_Vol_1_142

possibly. I didn't read comic books until probably around 1960, and I may be conflating Wonder Woman and the Xeen Arrow stories.
