Well, now you have it. Prometheus is going to rescue Jasma. I've been wanting these two to meet for a while.

I have a very important question, going forward in this story. I know that Jasma's features look slightly oriental because of her alien father, though she has her mother's hair and eye color. Can anyone give me more details on her appearance?

That's really the extent of her looks that I went . Her father had really yellow skin, but her mother looked human, so it has given it a more natural appearance. Clark has her cover her long blonde hair with a black wig to further the Eurasian look. Since she was around three when she was first shown when Salkoor looked in on her while she was asleep when she was shown, she would be around five... or possibly six years old.

Wexr II The room around Jasma suddenly echoed with a loud BOOM! She looked up, a little frightened at first that the nasty men might have blasted in through the door. What she saw was something she used to believe only existed in her mommy’s stories. It was a magic golden tunnel, floating in the air. It’s magic door! She thought. Maybe it leads to a fairyland? She only had a few moments to ponder the mystery, before somebody stepped out of the door. He didn’t look like a fairy. In fact, he looked like a boy, about her age. His hair was even blonde, like hers, and his eyes were blue. He wasn’t wearing cloths like the boys in her school did, though. He was wearing a loose, fitting robe, with a golden belt and golden shoes that looked like some kind of moccasins. Maybe he’s in his PJs? She wondered. He smiled when he saw her. It was a nice smile, a little shy, by very friendly. “Hi! I’m Prometheus. What’s your name?” “Jasma.” She said, smiling broadly in return. “Can you help me to get home? This is a scary place. I’m lost, and my mommy and daddy must be worried about me.” Prometheus frowned a little, thinking hard. “I guess. Sure! I can help.” He held up his wrist. There was a sparkly bracelet on it, with lines like a computer chip. “Mother Box can make Boom Tube to take us anywhere you want to go.” “Oooo! What is it?” Jasma hurried closer to see the bracelet. She’d never seen a boy with jewelry before. “Is it a magic bracelet? My mommy told me stories about magic bracelets that let to travel far away when you make a wish. Do you call that magic tunnel a boom tube because it makes a Boom! sound?” Prometheus was surprised by her questions, but pleased with the attention. “I guess so. And she’s not an it. She’s a Mother Box. Don’t they have Mother Boxes where you come from?” “Nope,” Jasma shook her head. “But I’d like one. Maybe I can ask my daddy for one, if I’m good.” She cocked her head. “Why is she called a box, though? She looks like a bracelet.” Prometheus shrugged. “They can look like anything. A lot of people gave box-shaped ones. I like this one ‘cause it’s easier to carry. He spoke to his Mother Box. “Mother Box, can you take Jasma and me to her home?” Mother Box pinged. Prometheus looked at Jasma expectantly. “What?” “She asked you where your home is. Don’t you understand her?” “Ooo!” Jasma was impressed. “She’s like R2-D2. That’s so cool! I don’t know how to talk beeps, but I’d like to learn.” Prometheus was a little confused. Maybe R2-D2 was what they called Mother Boxes on her world? “Sure, I can teach you. Everyone on New Genesis can.” Jasma looked at the Mother Box and gave a little smile and a shy wave. “Hi Mother Box. I live on Earth. Can you take me there?” Mother Box hummed for a moment, then have a sad, short ping. “Uh oh, that didn’t sound good” She looked at Prometheus. “She says it’s too far.” He said. “I should go that far without a grown-up.” That made sense. Jasma’s mommy and daddy had said the same thing when she asked if she could ride the bus to the library to look for more Dr. Seuss books while they were off fighting crime. “Maybe she can call my daddy. Does she work like a telephone?” Prometheus wasn’t sure what a telephone was, but didn’t want to look dumb. “Sure, Mother Box can send a message. Who’s your dad?” Jasma started to say “Superman,” then quickly stopped. O No! She was so happy when Prometheus showed up, she broke the Secret Identity Rule! Her daddy told her that, when she was in her normal cloths with the wig on, she could say her name was Jasma, and tell people her daddy was Clark Kent. But, if anyone saw her in her Supergirl costume, she needed to keep her secret identity, and tell them she was Supergirl, and her daddy was Superman. Normally, this was no problem. Jasma liked her secret identity. It made her feel more like a superhero. But she forgot to say she was Supergirl when Prometheus asked her her name. Maybe he won’t notice my costume, she though vainly. After all, he was dressed funny too. Maybe that was the way all kids on his planet dressed? Deciding to stick as close to the rule as possible from now on, she said “My daddy’s name is Clark Kent.” Prometheus relayed this information, and the Mother Box pinged another negative. “Mother Box doesn’t know anybody named Clark Kent.” He frowned momentarily, then brightened as a terrific idea occurred to him. “I know! Let’s go to my home. My daddy is very smart. He knows everything in the universe. I bet he will know how to call your parents. Even if he doesn’t, he could take you back to Earth.” Jasma though this was a great idea, and it cheered her up considerably. At Prometheus’ command, Mother Box opened another Boom Tube, and the two exited tykes disappeared into thin air, leaving the troubled world of Wexr II behind.

I would like some advice for my story. Will it be OK for Jasma and Prometheus to just have a little bit of a play day on New Genesis, ro do people think that there needs to be some kind of actual adventure on that planet before I send her home?

A play day would be cool for the simple fact that, in a future story, her father could mention New Genesis and she could add a bit of information or description and catch everyone off guard.

I'd be okay with a super playdate, too. It would give the story a nice silver age feel. The big question is when these two should find out they are brother and sister.

New Genesis Jasma’s eyes grew as wide as half-dollars when they first sighted New Genesis. “Wow” She starred around in wonder at the magnificent, hyper-exaggerated landscape of the world of the gods. The waterfall coming from the nearby mountains was as high as a Sky-scrapper! Trees that towered like building spread out all around in a vast forest. Everything seemed to be magnified to a super-powered scale. “Yeah,” Prometheus said with a grin. “It’s kinda awesome.” He well remembered his own look of wonder when Darkseid first sent him here. It was cool to see it on his new friend’s face, and it made him feel very proud of his home. “Come on, lets go to Supertown.” He took flight, stopping about ten feet in the air to glance behind him. Jasma was smiling with such glee it looked like her face was splitting. “You can fly!!” “Yea” “Me too!” Jasma rocketed into the and leapfrogged over Prometheus’ shoulders. The kid from New Genesis flipped a little bit before righting himself, then took off happily after his playmate. “My turn!” He caught up with her and sprang over her shoulders. Jasma then took after him, picking up speed along the way. Faster and faster they raced across the sky, flipping off of each other like weightless astronauts. Suddenly, Prometheus decided to shake up the game. Just as Jasma passed overhead, he grabbed her ankles and dis a triple somersault, letting go just when she was at the apex. With a squeal, the girl of steel when hurtling over the landscape, impacting to the soft, earth side of a nearby mountain with enough force to leave a crater. Jasma hopped out of the hole. “WAHOO!” She called up at her friend as he descended to the ground in front of her. “That was so AWESOME!” Prometheus beamed extatically. “This is great. A lot of my friends have superstrength and are super-tough, but not many can fly too. What other powers have you got?” “Well, I’ve got super-sight and hearing, and x-ray vision. O! and I have heat vision. Watch this!” Turning, Jasma picked out a shrub of bush that was pretty isolated by rocks. Her mommy and daddy told her to be very careful not to let fires spread. Concentrating hard, she screwed up her face, and let loose with a beam of red heat from her eyes. In seconds she had burned the bush to a crisp. Prometheus starred in wonder. “I never knew anybody except my daddy could do that.” “Your daddy has heat vision too?” “Yes. Um. . . not Highfather, the one we’re going to see. I mean my. . .other daddy.” Suddenly, the child of New Genesis was scared. He didn’t want to mentioned his daddies name. Jasma didn’t seem to know he was the son of Darkseid. Maybe if she did, she wouldn’t want to play with him anymore. “You have two daddies?” Jasma smiled sympathetically. “I know how confusing that can be. I have two mommies; AND two daddies.” “You do?” “Yep.” She told him the story the way she had learned it. “My mommy was Supergirl. She died before I was born, so I don’t really remember her.” Jasma had heard many stories about her birth mother, and seem movies of her super feats. It was her dream to grow up to be that incredible and heroic someday.” “ I lived with my first daddy for about a year, so I remember him pretty well. He was really nice, but busy.” She reflected a little bit on the first father she had ever known, and the strange life they had lived on the alien world of Melkor. Her memories of that time were more vivid than and earthchild’s because of her super-memory. “Then he died, but my new mommy and daddy adopted me, and now I live with them. And they’re awesome!” Kristin and Clark were all the loving parents a girl could wish for, super or otherwise. Wow, thought Prometheus. This is great! She really will understand me. “My daddy is a king from another planet.” He began. Jasma punched him lightly in the arm. “No way! You’re making that up.” “Nuh-uh, It’s true!” he firmly asserted, planting his foot in the ground. “It wasn’t nice planet. It was really ugly, not like here at all. My daddy was nice, and sometimes by big brother Kalibac was too, but most people were really mean and scary.” He shuddered to think about Desaad, or Granny Goodness, and the horrible things he had seen, as well as the even worse things he had overheard people say. “My daddy sent me here to New Genesis to keep me safe. Highfather adopted me, and he’s my daddy now.” “He speaks the truth child” came a deep, bemused voice. Jasma turned to look behind her in surprise. Prometheus looked up as well. He had been so focused on his conversation with his new friend that he hadn’t even noticed Highfather’s arrival. The ruler of New Genesis stood on a level piece of shale, about ten feet away and slightly higher on the mountain side (away from the debrie of Jasma’s landing). Neither of them had heard a Boom Tube, but that didn’t mean anything. Highfather’s staff allowed him to channel the pure Source, and he was able to travel short distances on his own. “You’re Prometheus’ dad?” she asked. Highfather smiled kindly. “Indeed I am, young lady. He is indeed the son of a king, twice over.” He look at Prometheus, a bit more sternly. “Prometheus, you have been out late. You worried your mother and I.” Prometheus hung his head a little. “I’m sorry Highfather, but I was playing with my new friend.” He looked up happily at Jasma. “Her name is Jasma, and she’s from Earth. I saved her from a dungeon on a scary world, and she wants to go home. Can you send her home?” Highfather chuckled at his son’s story. “Indeed, so I can. I am very familiar with Earth, and with Jasma’s father, Superman.” “Superman?!” Prometheus’ head swiveled as he stared at his friend. “Your dad is Superman?” Even he had heard about the greatest hero in the universe. “Uh, yeah,” she said sheepishly. Looking up at Highfather, she said “I’m supposed to keep my daddy’s identity secret. Please don’t tell anybody.” Now Highfather laughed out loud. “Have no fear child, It is well known on New Genesis that Clark Kent and Superman are one and the same.” “Daddy, can Jasma come back and visit soon?” Prometheus looked up pleadingly. “She’s really fun to play with, and she has powers just like me.” “As well she should my son.” Said Highfather. “Jasma is your half-sister.” “What?!!” Now both children stared in shock, their nearly crossing as they tried to star at each other and at Highfather at the same time. “Indeed, Prometheu’s father, combined his DNA with your mother, Jasma, to create Prometheus. You have the same birth mother.” Jasma starred at Prometheus in wonder. “I never had a brother before.” She whispered. Prometheus was amazed as well. “I had a big sister, with powers like mine, but she was nasty.” He walked over to Jasma and reached out to hug her. “You’re not old, or nasty Jasma. I like you, I’m glad you’re my sister. Will you be my best friend too?” Jasma returned the hug with vigor. “Of course I will.” This was the best day ever! Now she had a brother, who was a real prince, AND had power like her so they could play super games together. She hadn’t had a super-playmate since Kent Shakespeare got grown up overnight and left her. “Jasma may visit whenever she likes, my son.” Highfather gestured with his staff and opened a Boom Tube. “But now I think it is time she returned home to her father. She has been gone for quite some time, and I am sure he is worried about her.” Jasma gave her new friend one last hug. “Goodby Prometheus!” She waved as she floated op towards the Boom Tube. She couldn’t wait to tell her daddy all about her new adventure. “Goodby Jasma!” Prometheus called after her, waving until she vanished completely, and the Tube sealed behind her. No question, this was the best day ever.

I loved the surprise ending. I hope we don't have to wait too long before she breaks the news to her parents.
