I would have for new Earths of Multiverse would be, for example, Earth based on feudal Japan from the Samurai and Ninja age with Eastern versions of all superheroes and super heroines of DC Comics ( Superman , Superwoman , Superboy , Supergirl , Steel , Captain Marvel , Martian Manhunter , Cyborg , Flash , Green Lantern , Aquaman , Batman , Robin , Wonder Woman , Captain Atom , Firestorm , Hawkman , Hawkwoman , Doctor Fate , Zatanna , The Atom , Green Arrow , Black Canary , Vixen , Elongated Man , Metamorpho , Animal Man , Booster Gold , Blue Beetle , Fire , Ice , Red Tornado , The Ray , Starman , Congorilla , Blue Devil , Black Lightning , Batwoman etc ) on one world of Multiverse filled with imposing and majestic meta-humans who follow the code of honor of the Samurai, stealthy and deadly Ninja assassins of the shadows , Oriental sorcerers who practice magic based on the 5 elements of oriental culture, Metal, Wood, Earth, Water, Fire, which balance as follows Metal cuts Wood, Wood sucks Earth, Earth absorbs Water, Water extinguishes Fire and Fire melts Metal , or Shinobi sorcerers Ninja practitioners of art of Kuji-kiri the "Magic Ninja" based on the nine levels of knowledge: Rin - Power, Hyo - Energy,Toh - Harmony, Sha - Healing, Kai - Intuition,Jin - Consciousness,Retsu - Dimension,Zai - Creation and Zen - Absolute such as Batman Jonin Ninja, Robin Ninja to Catwoman Kunoiche of Robin Annual 43 Elseworlds with meta-humans masters in martial arts and in the handling of swords katanas and ninja-to as in such films as "The Seven Samurai," "The Last Samurai," "Shadow Warrior," "The Sword of Doom," "The Samurai," "13 Assassins" or in manga like "Lone Wolf", "Samurai X or Rurouni Kenshin", or "Blade of the Immortal" among countless that I could cite one world of Multiverse of austere meta-humans samurai, martial arts, magic and ancestral spiritual traditions and honor . Type like this : And like this :

There are a lot of possibilities. I doubt if there are enough writers and readers to support them all. But certainly, the two you point out seem to be likely in terms of 'alternate universes' where a small twist in history a long time ago makes a big change to the present.

Thanks I would really love it if any of the fanfic writers of this forum were interested in making a fanfic based on this idea about the Eastern Earth of the Multiverse DC. Even if it was a fanfiction one shot for me would be great.

One interesting question would be how to establish an alternate Earth like this. It needn't neccessarily be feudal Japan- it could be an alternate universe where, for example, the Black Death of 1348 was far more devastating even than our world, so the dominant global powers became China, India, the Aztec and Mayan Empires, Songhay and Dahomey in Africa, and the Dar al-Islam (Muslim world). Kim Stanley Robinson and Rob Silverberg did that in "The Year of Rice and Salt" and "Gate of Worlds." Another option might be an alternate universe where Zhang He managed to explore the whole world and China became aware of oppportunities for global conquest in the fifteenth century. Or, the Mongol Empire was more successful than in our world and destroyed the Christian hold on Europe. Or, Carthage won the Punic Wars and Rome was destroyed, leading to a multipolar world where Japan might be one of the non-European global powers. The choice is yours.

I did not really think much about this socio-cultural aspect nor on other aspects such as "the history" of the " Eastern Earth " but I had originally imagined a world where the Eastern discipline model of Asian countries like Japan became examples of organization and efficiency for all the countries in the world and in which the main superheroes of the Earth Prime : Superman , Superboy , Supergirl , Steel , Martian Manhunter , Miss Martian , Cyborg , Flash , Green Lantern , Aquaman , Batman , Robin , Red Robin , Nightwing , Batgirl , Wonder Woman , Captain Atom , Firestorm , Hawkman , Hawkwoman , Phantom Stranger , Zatanna , Zauriel , The Atom , Green Arrow , Black Canary , Arsenal , Huntress , Static , Elongated Man , Plastic Man , Metamorpho , Element Woman , Animal Man , B'Wana Beast , Vixen , Booster Gold , Blue Beetle , Fire , Ice , Rocket Red , Red Star , Red Tornado , Apache Chief , Black Vulcan , El Dorado , Rima the Jungle Girl , Samurai , The Wonder Twins , Starman , Congorilla , Etrigan the Demon , Black Lightning , Batwoman etc instead of having all appeared in the USA in this Earth of the Multiverse DC would instead have arisen all in the Japan being mostly Eastern and governed by the traditions and customs of the Eastern people. In this Earth of the Multiverse DC for example there would be Hengeyokai and Onis (instead of "Lycanthropes and Demons") Tenshis ("Eastern Angels" of "Takamagahara" the eastern paradise) there would exist the World Yomi (the "Eastern Hell") Mages and Sorcerers Shugenja and Wu Jen, Shinobi practitioners of Kuji-kiri the "ninja magic" and the traditions of honor of the Samurai persist until the current days.

Hey, I've got a possible sociocultural grounding point you might find interesting. The Mongol Empire tried to invade Japan in 1274 and 1281 and failed both times. Let's say that the Japanese victories in 1281 was so overwhelming that it completely wiped out the Mongol Empire (perhaps due to Japanese magii?) As a consequence, Japan became a great territorial empire on the East Asian mainland far sooner than it did on our Earth and European-dominated Earths. That might fit your model. Japan goes on to become so established it establishes trade on equal terms with European powers it encounters, emulates their technology far earlier, and ends up dominating that Earth as a result. And from memory, there are Asian-equivalent Kryptonians in Twenx, so you could have Kal-El and Kara sent to Earth from there.

I think it might even be interesting if by chance the authors of fanfictions who are interested in working with an "Eastern Earth" of the Multiverse DC can take these socio-cultural aspects into consideration also why not?I had originally imagined an Earth from the DC Multiverse where the culture and traditions of the eastern peoples influenced all the world even the western countries and where the meta-humans are mostly located in the countries of the East instead of USA and Europe as is the case of Earth-1. In this Earth of Multiverse DC the baby sent from Krypton to Earth belonged to the lineage of the Kryptonians who physically resemble the Orientals as well as his older cousin sent to take care of him that due to a relativistic distortion in time and space only came to "Eastern Earth" when his cousin was already adult and the greatest hero of that world. I thought about the possibility of creating a whole "Justice League of the East" with Eastern versions of each of the superheroes that form the Justice League of America as well as a "Legion of Doom of East" with oriental counterparts from each of the villains who make up the Legion of Doom of Earth-1.These are things that need to be well thought out by the fanfic writer who wants to write stories about "Eastern Earth"!

Wonderful graphic! It'd be interesting to expand on Kal-El's background when he arrived on Earth.

I really feel very gratified and happy every time I can contribute a useful idea and valid for the authors of fanfics I like to be useful and to be able to help even if only a little like in these ideas of "Eastern Earth".
