Titans United! Works for me. Though "Titans Together" would work better! I guess the Global Guardians are the ones with the real geography problems, but they have Doctor Mist to transport the members around as needed.

That actually gives me an idea on how to include Titans West in this story, since I was drawing blanks until now. Give me a few days to work it out... Thanks guys!

Actually, the Global Guardians have their portals in each nation that lead to the castle base in Sardonia.

"Anyway, Looker was the first to leave, when she realized she didn't want to move from glamorous Gotham City to the third largest city in Ohio. Metamorpho didn't last much longer, since Rex's wife Sapphire liked her jet-setting, big city life as well, though he still drops by from time to time. We gained Celsius and Negative Woman for a while, mostly because they just needed a home, but Arani left a while back to search for a lost relative of hers, and Valentina decided to go with her until she figures out what she wants to do with herself, what with Gorbachev and his Glasnost policy opening up the Soviet Union to the West. And now, with Geo-Force also gone, that leaves the team down to me, Katana, Halo, and Windfall."
I know I forget about him all the time, but what happened to the teenager hero Cold Shoulder that Celsius was training back in the story The Outsiders: School Days?

I'm up for suggestions. I planned to mention Cold Shoulder in a tie-in Outsiders story explaining more fully why they left Cincinnati, but after their departure he could be anywhere. I was just going to suggest that he's now a local neighborhood hero in that city, but I wonder if the Outsiders would have hooked him up with one of the various young-heroes-in-training operations when they left, or if he might fall prey to criminal recruitment if left to himself.

I had Guardian decide to start such a training school with property provided to him by TNT. I figured students might include Mickey Norris, Billy Anders, maybe Val Colby etc. I never actually showed the school so anybody could be there.

I would love to see what Val Colby is up to these days! I briefly even considered using him in this story somehow but decided against it.

The Flash needed all of his speed and more to keep himself from being captured like the rest of the Justice League had been. If Savitar hadn't already taken advantage of the surprise of it all, Wally West would have attempted to perform the same domino trick on the Legion of Doom. Unfortunately, he knew it wouldn't work; everyone was too on guard for another super-speed trick by now to be taken unawares. The Flash was liable to trigger a trap laid by one or more of the villains by now. What he needed to do was to free his fellow JLAers all at once, so that his efforts might have a chance of succeeding. But, of course, that was exactly what the Legion expected him to do.
Well, that's all there is to it, thought Wally as he evaded the grasp of Lord Malvolio's power ring creations, then leaped out of the way of a blast of Martian-vision from the Marshal. I need to pull off a miracle -- and fast!
The Flash was running out of time, but at least he was still running.

Glad to see this still going. I still plan to add some more stuff with other heroes. I've just had a bad case of writer's block,

As explosions rocked the Los Angeles skyline, disturbing the peace of the hot summer day, people scattered throughout the streets in terror. Although loud, the explosions did little obvious damage despite being set off in several places at once, destroying a side of a building here, a row of cars there. The problem was that nobody really knew where to run; all they knew was that L.A. was under attack by some unknown foe, and that no one direction was truly safe.
The mystery of the attack would not remain one for long, however, as a strangely costumed figure soon made himself known, and the sound of harsh laughter began to overtake the resounding explosions. With the echoes of the explosions fading into the background, the panicked crowds stopped running as if no longer in fear for their lives. In reality, everyone was just waiting to see what was next.
"HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAA! You fools!" shouted a gaudily dressed man in a yellow and purple costume, standing atop a flying platform that hovered over the largest gathering of people. "None of you are safe from the wrath of -- the Annihilator! AH-HA-HA-HA-HAAA!" As if to punctuate his laughter, another round of explosions were set off as the Annhilator raised his hands, and the crowds began to scream and panic once more.
"Too long have I waited to exact my revenge upon the world for all the years I lost!" cried the Annihilator in a manic tone of voice. "You forced me into hiding, but now you will all bow before your new lord and master! AH-HA-HA-HA-HAAA!"
More explosions rocked the buildings above, as debris and glass rained down upon the streets below.
"I hereby declare war--" the Annihilator shouted, "--upon ALL OF HUMANITY!"
But before the screams could begin anew, another loud voice shouted over the noise. "Not so fast, Annihilator!"
"Eh? What is this?" the Annihilator replied incredulously. "Who dares interrupt my magnum opus -- my crowning achievement?"
"We do!" said a crowd of voices as a group of colorfully dressed men and women appeared walking amidst the parting crowd.
"HA-HA-HA-HA-HA!" the Annihilator laughed maniacally. "And just who are you costumed clowns?"
"We are Vanguard," said the apparent leader, a man in a stylish red and black costume with golden trim, who wore golden gauntlets, black boots, and a golden helmet that amplified his voice. "And nobody attacks L.A. under our watch!"

I've been too busy over the summer to do much writing, but I'm going to try to keep this story updated, though the story updates will probably end up being shorter, like this one.
A gold star to anyone who can guess who the unnamed hero is before my next post!

I couldn't guess.
This post had a strong superfriends feel to it. It's different, but not at all bad.

Yes, Kole is alive and well. I always meant for her to return after an untold solo tale that showed where she ended dup.

A few minutes earlier:
Four figures were strolling down Rodeo Drive, enjoying the Los Angeles weather in July.
"Dahhhlings, why did it take you so long to move out here to L.A.?" said Lia Briggs, a tall, gorgeous redhead wearing a light green summer dress and large sunglasses beneath a white brimmed hat. "If I'd known you were coming sooner, I would've thrown on something a bit better than these old rags."
Tatsu Yamashiro rolled her eyes, but she could tell that Gabrielle Doe was eating up every word. It was little wonder that the Japanese martial artist called Katana felt compelled to watch over her; although Gaby was now legally an adult, she possessed the innocence and naivete of a young girl. That was why her heroic name of Halo suited her so.
"Gosh, Lia, you've always looked so beautiful, no matter what you do," said Gaby, her arms full of bags from various trendy clothing stores, most of them Lia's.
"Yes, about that," said Tatsu with a frown. "You never did explain just how you got your powers back, and so recently, too."
"Oh, that?" Lia said with a laugh. "Darling, my power was within me the whole time. It's within all of us, really. We just have to keep from doubting ourselves, wouldn't you agree, Wendy?"
Gabrielle's closest friend was Wendy Doe, whose true surname remained unknown. Even younger than Gaby, Wendy was better known by the name Windfall, first as a member of a super-villain team, and now as a super-heroine herself. She perked up at the mention of her name; she was used to being left to herself so much that she was at a loss for words whenever someone asked for her opinion. She was also carrying several bags.
"Yes," she said simply, finding approval in Gaby's eyes. Wendy looked down again when she saw that Katana was still scowling. "I mean... I wouldn't really know. I -- I've always been a bit shy."
"I understand completely, darling," Lia said, putting one arm around the girl. "I used to be just like you. That's why it's so wonderful that you're finally here in L.A., where even the shyest wallflower can reinvent herself!"
Gabrielle and Wendy giggled, and Tatsu sighed impatiently. She wasn't looking forward to the prospect of having to put up with Looker back on the team again. And don't think I didn't notice how you deflected my question, either, thought Katana. I'll get the truth out of you yet.
Suddenly, the ground was rocked by explosions. Before any of the startled women could speak, they suddenly found themselves enveloped by a green glow.

Nice chapter. Glad to see the Outsiders return as well as Looker amongst them. I wonder if she made an infernal deal with someone to get her powers back!
