During his time at DC, Robert Kanigher created many memorable characters. Unfortunately, there was also the matter of his decades spent thoroughly mutilating the Wonder Woman mythos. Queen Hippolyta and the Amazons were married, with husbands- and then widowed! Wonder Tot and Wonder Girl co-existed with Wonder Woman! Wonder Woman was beset by multiple suitors in addition to Steve Trevor, and the two of them perpetually tried to get hitched to one another. But Trevor had to contend with the Glop, Merman and Birdman, who had also carried a flame for Wonder Woman since she was Wonder Girl. Things got even more incongruous when a lovesick alien "Amoeba Man" turned up in 1961 and tried to have nuptials with the Amazon. Finally, even Kanigher got fed up with the overextended supporting cast and called them into his office (...) before erasing Merboy/Merman, Birdboy/Birdman, the Glop and the earlier incarnations of Wonder Woman from existence, leaving only Hippolyta and Steve Trevor still around. The Tarnished Silver Age WW Cast Metastasis: whosouttherecomics.wordpress.com/2019/03/01/dont-let-a-mysogynist-plan-your-wedding-robert-kanigher-and-wonder-womans-utterly-unsuitable-suitors/The Great WW Supporting Cast Massacre: www.cbr.com/wonder-woman-robert-kanigher-fired-supporting-cast/2/Must this be consigned to Silver Age authenticity, particularly as Kanigher himself did away with Merboy/Merman, Birdboy/Birdman, Glop and Wonder Tot, which is therefore canonical for Earth-One? Or is it- perhaps Kanigher used an interdimensional portal to Earth-One to call the various characters into his office on Earth-Prime? Perhaps it could all be quarantined on a humorously-themed alternate Earth ("Earth-K?")?

I have been doing some reading about the other Golden Age super women - the Blue Lady, Lady Fairplay, Mighty Woman and Super Ann, mainly, and I read something very similar to the above. It looks like we might be looking at some of the same sites...
Did you see the page where Queen Hippolyta used Amazon technology to create deep fake videos of Wonder Woman, Wonder Girl and Wonder Tot at the same time, even though they were all the same person?

I'd like to preserve as many of the characters from that era as possible. I actually have some plans for Glop, and I think Merman and Merboy appeared in a story on the site.

Yeah, I've long been of the mind to include as much comic-book mythos as possible and figuring out ways it still works. I don't object to creating parallel universes that are based around the more wacky ideas, but that doesn't mean that wackiness never happened on Earth-1.

So, if Wonder Girl was eventually given her own origin and legitimized, does that mean Wonder Tot was real, too? Does she have an untold origin and how old would she ne now?

I think some of us were talking about a possible pocket universe featuring Wonder Girl, a young Bruce Wayne as Executioner, Aquaboy and...?

If you look at any given Silver Age story, especially a Superman story, you could derive an entire alternate timeline in which a new status quo is set, instead of being reversed as in the actual published comic.
Think of all those stories where Superman was duplicated, or became blind, or actually died and his organs were implanted into different people and granted them different abilities (that was a really weird one)... imagine if the ending of any one of those bizarre stories was different? You could do any number of "What If?" type stories for the DC universe by using this tactic. Might be fun if you're really itching to write, but don't have any particular ideas in mind (though for me it's almost always the opposite -- too many ideas, too little time/energy for writing).

I loved Donna Troy as Wonder Girl in the early Teen Titans, but one of the reasons I stopped reading DC Comics is that they wouldn't leave her alone and started changing her origin and changing her character, jerking her around until she was totally unrelated to the original except by her civilian name and a ridiculous paper trail of stupid changes...

So, if Wonder Girl was eventually given her own origin and legitimized, does that mean Wonder Tot was real, too? Does she have an untold origin and how old would she ne now? There was a long discussion about this. I really want to introduce Wonder Tot as a character, another adopted sister of Wonder Woman who came to Paradise Island at a younger age. My idea was that, possibly through the actions of Mr. Genie, Wonder Tot became lost in another dimension, and only recently returned. Based on her age before, she would be about the age Donna was when she first joined the Teen Titans is she returned now. I was going to have her initially fight Cassie Sandsmark for the title of Wonder Girl, and then they come to an accord.

I'd like to see a Wonder Tot exist in some form. Mr. Genie might not be as nice as he seemed. Could he be someone like Mr. Mxy. (sp?) or Quisp or another imp with his own interpretation of reality?

I like the idea of including as much as possible of past continuity from Batman's alien encounters to all the time travel stories. It would be interesting to see someone make sense of Deadman's continuity and of the new gods too.

Now that Bart Allen is here, he might have a team up with Wonder Tot?

I’d like to see what happens when Batman encounters one of those weird situations with aliens but written in a more modern style. Could be a good writing challenge. Perhaps it could be a sequel to an older story.

Mr. Genie is almost certainly hiding his true nature. When Wonder Tot found him, he had been imprisoned for centuries for being evil, but when she outwitted him, he claimed to have completely reformed.
