1. Zook: J'Onn J'Onnz' sometime other-dimensional sidekick, who mysteriously vanished. Perhaps he ended up in a multiversal portal and got deposited in Earth-12 and found he liked it there? (No, I don't think he's from Zrrf, home to Mxyzptlk, Mxyxtplk, Bat-Mite, Gltpsnz etc.): en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zook_(character)2. Fatman: Mr America's sidekick from Earth-Two (aka Bob Daley). This may be tricky, given my Freedom Force JSA pastische group already has a Fatman in it. Is there any good reason why this Fatman shouldn't eventually end up on Earth-12? And why does his outfit so closely resemble that of Ma Hunkle, the original Red Tornado, so much? Is there an untold adventure involving the two characters we should be writing?: dc.fandom.com/wiki/Robert_Daley_(JSA:_The_Golden_Age)3. Thunderfoot: The Human Bomb (Roy Lincoln) provided Hustace Throckmorton with a blood transfusion, but poor Hu found out that his transfusion had left him with combustible feet! Again, one might expect a pesky interdimensional vortex to whisk him off to Earth-12 from either Earth-X or Earth-Quality: pdsh.fandom.com/wiki/Thunderfoot4. Super-Hip: On the other hand, this former Bob Hope comics associate (aka Tadwallader Jutefruce) probably already lives on Earth-12, given that it's supposedly where DC comedian franchise characters live. So, he should be introduced at some point. Although he was witnessed hanging around with the original Doom Patrol and even attended Rita Farr and Steve Dayton's wedding- so, possibly originally Earth-One?: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Super-Hip5. Cheeks the Toy Wonder: Ambush Bug's inanimate doll 'partner': dc.fandom.com/wiki/Cheeks_(New_Earth)(And yes, dans, this is the result of having a look at the League of Regrettable Sidekicks. These five looked more regrettable than others).

I thought that grouping was familiar.I think it would be cool to see Loco make a comeback... maybe have the Boy Rangers team up with the Boy King?
Actually, this could be a pretty good horror movie? Maybe... The Boy King's Giant and Loco vs. Godzilla and Fafnir the Dragon

We don't know if there are planets in Zrrf, or if there is only 1 'place' that fills the whole dimension. If there are stars, planets and galaxies, maybe Zook is from some planet other than the home of the other imps and the Thunderbolts... that could be kind of cool...

And as for the not so Regrettable Sidekicks I did like... Superman Junior, the Huntress and Lobo, Urth-4, the Clawites and Gaggy- I think I'll incorporate them into future fiction.

I think there is a Superman Jr. story already in 5EP - maybe Doc wrote it? That original story had a terrible ending, and I think Doc decided to fix it...

Yeah, having read the Regrettable Sidekicks' entry on Superman Junior, I definitely agree with you on that one.

Superman was a jerk in the 50s in particular. Can you imagine being a kid who just gave up powers that made him the mightiest kid in the universe and then having the guy you donated your powers to just fly away and leave you on a street corner? An appropriate follow up story could be that the kid's powers slowly come back and he decides to get revenge on the adoptive parent who just turned him loose on a street corner... it would be particularly pointed if he realized he had only loaned the powers, and by making a mental effort, he could take them back again...
just reread. He _might_ have abandoned the kid in Smallville, at least it wasn't in the bad part of a big city. But Smallville would have been even worse, with constant reminders of Superboy on every corner.

I admit that I like Zook a lot. I'd rather he stayed on E-1 or on E-1's New Mars. He was actually pretty helpful to the Martian Manhunter. He didn't really cause problems like Bat-Mite for example. Then again, most DC characters might also have E-12 counterparts if we consider things like the super friends continuity happening on e-12 as well as perhaps on some alt. Earth of their own.

I've never been sure where Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and his pal Grover came from since they had human characters in the book too so they weren't E-C..

Actually the Zook from the Martian Manhunter stories developed an allergy to earth pollution and went to live with the Manhunter's parents on New Mars. he has been seen since in a couple of stories here.

Superman Junior is now Skyman, a member of the Canadian super-hero team Northwatch. And yes, I figured Superman wouldn't have just abandoned the kid (referred to as Jimmy, Johnny, and Tommy in the same story) without making other arrangements for him. In my additions to the origin story Superman has already tracked down relatives in Canada who pick him up at the same corner in Smallville about 10 minutes later. There's more behind the scenes and follow-up, but I'll save it for the Secret Origins story.

Actually, I have to say I like the 5E outcomes for Zook and Superman Jr/Skyboy stated here. However, Fatman, Thunderfoot, Super-Hip and Cheeks are good candidates for Earth-12. And there's still the factor of the extraordinary resemblance of Fatman to Red Tornado I/Ma Hunkle in terms of their superhero wardrobes.

So Doc picked Johnny Kirk instead of Jimmy Kirk... perhaps the kid's name was James Tomberious Kirk and they called him Tom because his father was also Jim?
I am always intrigued when I see pictures of Ma Hinkle and then pictures of Fatman... maybe there is a common theme in their origins that someone could explore?

Cheeks without Ambush Bug makes no sense at all. Ambush Bug already skirts the line between Earth-1 and Earth-12 on a regular basis, which is the way we want it.
Super-Hip is established as being an Earth-12 character already, so he was somehow visiting Earth-1 for the wedding in Doom Patrol. This is not unusual, as the Inferior Five visited Earth-1 in Showcase #100 and then Earth-C at the end of the Oz-Wonderland War. The story of their return to Earth-12 remains unfinished, but is part of the "Crisis of Infinite Animals" in the Earth-C forum.
