Is there a program (or a website) that allows you to do a mock-up of a book page? I would like to get an idea of what the page layout might look like. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Don't know any free ones offhand. I learned on InDesign 5.0, which came with tuition in the Publishing course I was taking at the time. But I did the layout for my book in Word. I found a template for Trade Paperback and used that. Of course, it was all text, no images. I had to fill out some information on number of pages and the paper and binding I selected, because the margins needed to be adjusted a bit based on how thick the book would be. But that was like 12 years ago. Sorry I don't have more current information. But when you find something, let me know!
I suspect if you go to Smashwords - or any good self publishing site - they will have a step by step guide. (Or, you _could_ try a traditional publisher - I know I personally think your stuff is good enough that there would be publishers interested in it!)
