Some of you all I am still connected to on other social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter) but some of you only interact with me here. For those, here is a little update on Martin:
In the fall of 2016, after two years of trying to do software development in the automotive sector (predominant in Michigan where we moved in 2014), I quit my regular job.
In January of 2017, I started graduate school online to get my Masters degree in Library and Information Science. In December of 2018, I finished the program. In between, I was working part-time as a substitute librarian (mostly just reference desk type stuff). In January of 2019, I got a part-time librarian gig at another public library in the area where I am working an average of 25 hours per week. I do desk work plus Outreach (home delivery) to patrons who cannot come in as well as technology related programs (teaching courses on things like email, Microsoft Word and Excel, and doing one-on-one tech sessions with patrons). I am also responsible for the 600's section of non-fiction books (everything from health and medicine to cookbooks to fashion to guns to automotive to resumes and business and more!). I still sub when I can at the other library system.

That's cool! I think Libby has a similar career. Good to see you, Martin!
