I introduced the Lost Scrolls of Alexandria as a way to present certain fantasy stories set during E-1's mythological age. Before delving into the realm of fantasy, I thought I would see what type of stories everyone would prefer. Are we looking for your basic Conan-type sword and sorcery fantasy, or more high fantasy with elves, dwarves, and orcs (oh my)?

I might be interested in seeing some more adventures of Maxie the Gnome. Maybe some adventures of a sorceress's apprentice, using spells that are way over her head...
on the other hand, the scrolls are way more likely to have heroic adventures of larger than life heroes and heroines than more down to earth human interest stories. Dirvtaan, the swordsman and his embattled band of brave companions battling the dragon armies of the evil sorceress Empress Saria, that kind of thing!

I haven’t read these in a long time, but there are stories of Skartaris from ancient times when it was known as Wizardworld. Could be fun to explore that obscure part of the DCU, or allude to its existence in some way. This weekend I’m going to delve into it a bit, but if you want to look into it yourselves there was an entry for Wizardworld in Who’s Who back in the ‘80s

I've got a copy of the Who's Who Skartaris map on my phone. What are the chances that some of the places in the inner world actually had their origins on the surface world?

If you write it, and post it here, then the chances are excellent!

So, I had an epiphany. If anyone wants to write a Conan-type fantasy set it Earth-1's pre-history, you can put it under the Lost Scrolls of Alexandria banner. If we want a more high fantasy type story, we can use DC's Sword and Sorcery banner. (I had forgotten about that comic.) Anyway, just a couple options.

I had a thought. I wonder what you call a 'legacy' character who comes before the original character in time? In "Some Assembly Required" you created a character we called Gladiator, who fought with the tools a a Roman Retiarius - and of course, he was from Earth S. But maybe you could base a Sword and Sorcery character on the existing Gladiator, with a magic trident and net...(and maybe he partners with a nymph with a blue color scheme and a magic ring...)
