This is really very interesting, I think that in fact there are many characters that are currently under public domain that would make fantastic superheroes for the DC Universe if by chance someone worked on them properly. About Sunbeam I find it fascinating I think she would probably make a fantastic superheroine if she were introduced into the current DC Universe. I think it's cool that she exists on Earth-S. I think that later in the adventures of Squadron of Justice she could become an ally or even a future member of the team.

Sunbeam is already a valued ally of the Squadron of Justice - she joined with over 2 dozen other heroes from two different Earths in 1987 to destroy a 'War World' that was attacking Earth. Actually, if you want to read about a LOT of different heroes from Earth S and Earth T (the Earth of the Captain Thunder who visited Earth and fought Superman in Superman #276) you could try that story: Crisis Over Earth SSivana Jr. reforms. Almost every Earth S hero I was aware of at the time has a part, plus the Earth T counterparts of many of the members of the Squadron of Justice, plus some independent heroes. And they ALL get a turn in the spotlight.

I know that there was talk in that story of some of the younger heroes forming their own team, called the Phoenix Force
Atomic Rocket Crimson Kid Mr. Scarlet Phantom Eagle Sandy Sivana Spy Smasher Sunbeam Thad Sivana

Yes, Carol was not a member of the SoJ in that story and they have never invited her to become a member since then. But she is a valued and trusted ally.
The Phoenix Force never materialized; I never got back to them and nobody else picked up those particular toys from the sandbox. Although I am sure that by now Thad has finished creating their decoder rings and wrist TV communicators! So they are all set. Pinky / Crimson Kid would likely be the main driving force behind that team.

Oh, thank goodness you're not talking about the other Phoenix Force. I consigned them to Earth-12 and pitted the wretched seventies anime characters in question against the Freedom Brigade. How I hated that programme!

I think it must have been a fascinating adventure. I simply adore Captain Thunder, I think it's really sad that DC Comics decided to disappear with him because he is one of the most iconic superheroes of the Golden Age of comics. A good and superheroic version of Doctor Sivana called Sivana Jr? I think this is really very interesting because it would be really cool to have a super scientific genius of good! I also think it's really cool that on Captain Thunder's Earth there are counterparts of all the members of the Squadron of Justice. I would love to know the names of these heroes?

I find this idea about the group of heroes called Phoenix Force very interesting, I think they could be great allies for the Squadron of Justice!

Too bad I found some of the characters that formed it really interesting!

How I hated that programme! You're right, I also appreciate that the Phoenix Force from the Universe of adventures on the DC 5 Earths Forum is not the same as that other Phoenix Force.

Son of Liberty, the American Icon Phantom Eagle.................. not sure Golden Arrow..................... not sure What if they would happen to form an Earth-T superhero group equivalent to Shazam's Squadron of Justice in modern times circa 1988? They call themselves the Society of Justice and their Headquarters is on the 86th floor of the Dominion State Building in Earth T Metropolis ... check out The Society of Justice of Earth T They inherited the HQ from Doc Damage, the 1930s pulp hero who used to circle the globe with his team of 5 genius assistants and his super smart, sexy cousin in order to 'do right because it is the right thing to do'. We don't know ALL the heroes in the Society of Justice as some of them are away on other missions when they are visited by Mary Marvel; what we do know is that they are a more ethnically diverse group than the original Squadron of Justice on Earth S.

Very cool to know about this! I think they could also be called "Thunder's" Society of Justice in an analogy to "Shazam's" Squadron of Justice and would have Captain Thunder / Willie Fawcett as their leader who could be a Black African American in reference to the idea that DC Comics had of make Captain Thunder a Black Afro descendant in the 80s. I think it would be interesting for a superhero with powers comparable to those of Captain Marvel to be Black African as it would provide greater diversity and give a more unique and distinct air to "Thunder's" Society of Justice being commanded by a superhero Black African American descendant.
